Questions
Net worth certificate questions
Will the embassy or bank accept it?
Embassies, universities and banks set their own requirements. Send the format you were given and the certificate is prepared to match it. It is signed by a practising Chartered Accountant and carries a UDIN that anyone can verify on the ICAI portal.
Who issues the certificate?
An independent practising Chartered Accountant, whom you engage directly for the certificate. Finanserve helps you collect and organise the documents; it does not sign or issue certificates.
Can values be shown in a foreign currency?
Yes. Where required, the certificate states values in both currencies, with the exchange rate and its date.
How is property valued?
The certifying CA usually relies on a registered valuer's report or the government guidance value, and states the basis on the certificate.
