This policy explains how Tanmay Sharma & Associates, Chartered Accountants ("we", "us"), handles personal data collected through this website, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Details you enter in an enquiry form: name, phone number, email (if given) and the service you need.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
• Basic, aggregated website usage data (pages visited, device type) through analytics tools, if enabled.

Why we use it

Only to respond to your enquiry, discuss the work you asked about and, if you engage us, to deliver that work. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing lists.

Who sees it

The proprietor and staff working on your enquiry. We use service providers to run this website and receive form submissions (currently Cloudflare for hosting and FormSubmit for delivering enquiry forms to our email); they process data only to provide that service.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Records of client engagements are kept for the periods required by law and professional standards.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to the email below. You may also raise a grievance with us, and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
